Nothing but gerberas in the vase:

• use a clean vase
• trim stems at an angle
• add a drop or two of bleach to the vase
• check the water level every day
• keep away from draft, heat, sun & ripening fruit
• change water daily and trim stems again as necessary

Mixed bouquets including gerberas:

• use a clean vase
• remove all foliage below the water line
• trim stems at an angle with a sharp knife
• add packaged floral food per directions on packet
• check the water level every day
• keep away from draft, heat, sun & ripening fruit
• change the water and trim stems again as necessary
